Bard College (NY) – Part-time Italian Lecturer/Visiting Assistant Professor
The Division of Languages & Literature at Bard College (NY) is looking for a candidate to occupy a part-time position for 1 year, perhaps renewable, at the rank of Lecturer/Visiting Assistant Professor beginning Fall 2016. Requirements: Ph.D./ABD in Italian Studies or related field (area of specialization preferred: Medieval/Early Modern); native/near-native speakers of Italian and English, instructional technology and post-secondary teaching experience.
Workload: the applicant is expected to teach one language course each semester in the Italian Program. There might be additional teaching of Italian language courses in the Graduate Vocal Arts Program, but this needs to be confirmed.
