I’m writing
on behalf of “Teatro Stabile di Grosseto”, the cultural
institution that runs the “Giorgio Gaber Award for young people
– Freedom is participation” together with the “Giorgio
Gaber Foundation” established in Milan to promote the
preservation and the circulation of the works and artistic heritage
of this, now deceased, artist.
For
the year 2013 has been called the IV Edition
of the Award, open not only
to European Schoolsbut also to the European Socio
and Cultural nonprofitmaking Organisations.
The
project represents a unique opportunity to permits meeting
and exchanges of views between young people with realities and
geographically distant cultures and has its basis in a series of
theatrical performances and short films (for educational and
social goals) planned and set up by young people
themselves.
In order to financially support the educational
activities of the Schools and Socio and Cultural
Organisations, has been allocated
a total prize money of Euro 13,000.00, which
will be distributedamong the winners.
Just to give
you the picture of the extent of the event, last year we had more
than 20,000 participants and there are more than 2,000,000 page views
on our website each year.
The IV
Edition of the Award will take place
from May 2nd to 19th 2013 in the hotel "Park Hotel Colle
degli Angeli" located in Arcidosso, in the Grosseto province
(Tuscany – Italy).

Buongiorno,
scrivo per
conto del “Teatro Stabile di Grosseto”, Ente culturale che
gestisce il “Premio Giorgio Gaber per le Nuove Generazioni –
Libertà è partecipazione" insieme alla “Fondazione
Giorgio Gaber” di Milano, struttura preposta alla tutela e alla
diffusione del patrimonio artistico dello scomparso artista milanese.
Per l'anno
2013 è stata indetta la IV Edizione del Premio, aperta
non solo agli Istituti di Istruzione europei ma anche agli Organismi
Culturali senza scopo di lucro sempre del territorio europeo.
Il progetto
rappresenta un'occasione unica ed articolata di incontro, confronto e
scambio tra ragazzi proveniente da realtà e culture geograficamente
distanti, che prende forma a partire da una rassegna di lavori
teatrali e cinematografici (con finalità educative e sociali) ideati
e realizzati dagli studenti stessi.
Allo scopo di
sostenere economicamente le attività didattiche degli Istituti di
Istruzione e statutarie degli Organismi Culturali, è stato stanziato
un Montepremi totale di Euro 13.000,00 che verrà suddiviso tra i
Soggetti vincitori.
Per darvi
un’idea dell’ampiezza dell’evento, le presenze nella sola
ultima edizione hanno superato le 12.000 unità ed i contatti sul
sito internet sono oltre 2.000.000 ogni anno.
La IV edizione
del Premio si terrà tra il 2 e il 19 Maggio 2013 all'interno del
"Park Hotel Colle degli Angeli", in località Arcidosso,
nella provincia di Grosseto (Toscana - Italia).
